yes, the one i found is actually only for windows 2000 and below, if you know something i don't please let me know. thanks.

Have you tried the Windows 2000 driver? It's possible no XP driver exists.

i'm beginning to think you're probably right. i tried to download it and it won't detect the camera. i also tried downloading similar camera drivers, but nothing works. o well, the camera was free, we obviously need to go buy a nice one. thanks though!
