DRIVER NEEDED: JVC GR-D33EK (Windows XP Home) [USB]

Hi there,

I'm currently having issues with my digital camera as i cannot upload any of the videos for editing on the computer. I seem to have misplaced the box that it came in along with the software disc. I connected the digital camera to my pc via a dv cable to my usb port.

An error message occured saying that it was an unknown device and i have tried searching the manufacturers website with no luck. I was hoping someone could assist me in this matter. Cheers!

I have the same problem. My GF has lost the disc etc though I am using a Firewire 6 to 4 pin cable and my pc recognises it fine, but can only use it as a camera like a webcam. If you find the software to download vids for editing I'd be grateful for it too.

I found it sort of. It was called Image Mixer and my GF is sure it was ver 1.7 that came with her camera. Here is the link, http://www.imagemixer.com/e/jvc/index.htm. It takes you to the index page of the various versions but the download link gives you nothing.
