I'm having problems

I had my regular printer take a dump on me.I need it from day to day.
My problem is trying to get a Apollo P-2500 to register to my computer.It is set up for windows 2000 and later.I need this printer.Any one know an easy way to get it to be canpatible with my computer>?I have tried downloading from the internet.No success.I don't have the money to buy another one right now.HELP
