DRIVER NEEDED: Hewlett Packard (HP) ScanJet 4p (Windows XP Home)

I have a Gateway PC that originally came with Windows 98, and I was able to use my HP ScanJet 4p scanner with that operating system. However, I updated my OS to Windows Xp Home Edition, and my scanner would no longer work. I need all drivers and anything else that will help my scanner work with the new OS.

HP never developed any XP drivers for this long discontined model. However, you might find a workaround by reading the the information they post at the link below:
