DRIVER NEEDED: Epson GT6500 Flatbed scanner (parallel) (Windows XP Professional)

: not sure what interface type that i have it is connected right to the computer hard drive i think I need the driver for this scanner and need to know if i have list it as new hardware after i put the drivers in am not sure as i do not have a disc and have never done this before I would appreciate any help that you can give me on setting this up.

Hi Folks, I am seeking a Epson GT6500 scanner driver disk for windows XP Pro. This F/B scanner used to be used on my old Amiga A4000 Tower for many years and before retiring the Old Amiga A4KT in 2002, and downgrading to a fast PC , the GT6500 performed excellent. Can anyone help of direct me to a URL that has the XP Pro driver top suit.

: I have tried to use the AGFA Scanwise 2.0 Software with Win XP SP2 but get blue screen "multiple IRP request" crashes all of the time during install. There is what is said to be an XP driver for the E52 on this site but it is a .bin file. I have tried to open that by writing my own cue file but no amtter what mode etc. I use, I get an error back (no cue file or instruction come with it). I e-mailed the submitter a couple of days ago, but have not yet received a reply. Can anybody help before I have to replace a perfectly good scanner. Note: Agfa ceased making scanners and withdrew all support for them.

Dont thing you will find a driver for this old scanner for XP, none arround that I can find!

I have tried reinstalling over top the old install with no success. Based on your advise I will try uninstall. The url for the driver you have provided is the primary one I am using/trying. Thanks.
