sound card problems

Everytime I boot my computer the Found New Hardware Wizard pops up saying it found "SM Bus Controller". I need to find a driver for it but for the life of me I can't find it on the net.

It would be helpful to know what motherboard you have!
The SMBus Controller (or system bus controller) is part of the chipset. It monitors your system board's temperature and voltage. Programs that read your hardware sensors need the controller.
Depending on the chipset you have, Intel, Via, Sis!
So what chipset do you have?
