HELP NEEDED: Lucent fax modem (Windows 3.11)

On the driverguide website, I found the desired driver, which I presumed was available to download from the site. However, I was not allowed to do so unless I first registered to become a member, which I did, and which incidentally required me to disclose everything but my favorite toilet paper color. Page after page and step after step, my patience was wearing thin, but I continued.
Once I became a member however, the ability to find that driver, let alone any driver for download, now magically fails. It appears the only thing that works is the message board, which I can only assume is a sham.
If this message fails to show up on the message board, I'll assume that the information I disclosed will not be private, and I will forward this site to the appropriate authorities for investigation.

That's pretty bold...making threats then asking for help. Not the best method of getting help. Where on this website did it say your information was made or could be made public? (nowhere) and it takes less than 5 minutes to register on driverguide.com. Most folks can do it in less time. You undoubtly signed up on another site as this one is not that much trouble to complete.
Who still uses a 10 year old Windows graphical interface (not really an operating system since it requires dos to be installed). Windows 98 or Windows XP would be a more modern os in case you haven't heard about them.
