DRIVER NEEDED: Gericom Color TFT-LCD Monitor Model VT5S71 (Windows 98SE)

I have tried Gericoms HelpDesk it is in German which does not help.

I bought this monitor two weeks ago from Lidl, it is supposed to be plug & play - however, that did not work and it is running on my original Compaq driver. Problem is, when starting it hangs, or starts in safe mode. It is a right pain. Would really appreciate your help.
