HELP NEEDED: Sony Electronics CRX215E5 (Windows XP Home)

I have a Sony CD-RW CRX215E5! It does not recognize any form of CD. I won't read or burn. When nothing is in it it states CD-RW Drive :F if you put a CD in it it says CD Drive :F. When you try and burn a CD on Musicmatch, Real Player, Windows Media Player, etc... It says there is no disk in the drive, please insert a disk and try again! Anyone got any suggestions?
