DRIVER NEEDED: Samsung SC-152 (Windows XP Professional)

My PC can recognize this cd-r, but it can't read any inserted cd. I have allready checked the optical, and it's look good (bright red illumination). I want to flash the cd-r bios, but i can't it. P'se help me.

What evidence do you have that flashing the bios will solve your problem? If I read your statement correctly, you say the system recognizes the drive properly but you are unable to read any disk inserted into the drive. Can I assume the drive is listed in device manager under CD-ROM? If so, is it flagged as having any problem?
Flashing a drive is risky. And it usually won't make a non-working drive work. Using the wrong flash program can render the drive useless so be sure of what your doing before proceeding.
