internal
: What recording software are you using?:
Other (Other: bareshare)
Internal drive, usb interface, and using Bearshare recording software. What a combination. You cannot have a internal drive that has a usb interface. Internal drives can only have IDE, SCSI, or proprietary interfaces. Most modern drives have atapi (IDE) interfaces and do not require any driver when used in any Windows os from 95 up. Windows XP provides native support that allows a drive to read a data or music disk and to burn a cd-r disk. It does not provide any support for burning CD-RW disks. For that task, compatible recording software is required. And I doubt Bearshare (isn't that a p2p software?) will give you recording support. Use Easy Cd Creator or Nero for best recording results.
