Intenal and connected via parallel port??? no way! If your drive is internal then it must have an ide or scsi interface. In order to be parallel port interfaced, it would have to be an external drive.
Parallel port drives do require a driver so the system can see the drive. Internal ide drives do not require any driver when used in any Windows os from 95 up. Please clarify your interface.
