Exclamation HELP with my XP!!!!!

Please someone to help me!!!
I installed XP over my last W98, but now the clock on the corner run fast, the minutes ran like seconds... I don't know what happend but I think it's the cronometer or the processor. My computer has a processor P4 1.8 GHz, motherboard American Megatrends.

try to reset your bios, remove the tablet battery from your motherboard and then put it back, then boot up your pc...
