turn of the power and remove power plug and then remove the memory card/stick will have the same efect as removeing the battery to reset bios to defaults take care with static and ground yourself first, (i.e touch a radiator to do that) this might not work for you but its a good start dont forget to reset the time in the bios on first run! ps (tip) windows over-rides the bios when loaded as the bios is only required to start windows!.
Resetting Jumpers. Disconnect everything from your desktop tower. Press the power button after unplugging the computer. Remove the screws on the back to access the inside of the case. Ground yourself. Locate the BIOS reset jumper. Move the jumper one pin over. Wait about thirty seconds.
