Re: DRIVER NEEDED: Panasonic (Matsushita Matshita) ecam NV-GS50 (Windows XP Home) [USB]
My link was posted on behalf of member miniworld3. It was actually for anyone needing a link to the requested driver, so instead of complaining, why don't you face the challenge posed of "how to make it work" headon? You've not given me anything to work with, ie: system hardware/versions and software/versions and some details from device manager as well as the steps you used in trying to install. Not that I can magically make your problem go away but that would be required from anyone having problems getting a piece of hardware to work as designed by its manufacturer. What you get back depends on what you put in. So far all I have to work with is complaints of "it doesn't work"? It would be impossible to walk-thru every step involved in an attempt to figure out what is causing failure. But if it were my problem, I'd start with Windows Updates including security updates. Then I'd make sure my system was virus/spyware/adware free, then proceed to insuring my hardware was/is working properly by checking in Device Manager. And I might also mention exactly what task I was expecting the device to perform, ie: download still photos to pc via usb cable, download video to pc via firewire port, other?
btw, I have a brother using the same camera and I had no problems getting it to work (the first time) with the driver posted in the Panasonic link above.
