Driver needed Dell Optiplex GX240 Win 98

I have just about exhausted my downloads. Dell Optiplex GX240 running Win 98 SE
Say they work with Win 98 and system says not compatible.

Need Modem PRIORITY then I can run your scan

I don't have a clue what those broken words/sentences mean in the lower part of your thread.

If you read the writing posted on the DriverScan 2012 download page, you will see that it's only compatible with Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, & Windows 2000

For drivers, you need to either use our Simple Search Wizard (found within the HOME button, upper left corner of this page) to see if it's posted in our driver database..... or visit the Dell website to see if they offer the driver you need. Most companies have put Windows 98 (and Windows 98 support) away permanently.... retired quite some time ago.

well i can tell you that's not true been scrambling around and found everything but driver for pci system managemnt bus plus modem ethernet

Tried to boot a modem off the file for trendnet win 98se model tu2-et100 the driver tells me operating system needs to be newrer. I've got all the updates what do I do ???
