Hi there,
Wonder if anyone can help me. I have loaded XP Pro onto an Acer Aspire L100 pc and I am missing the audio driver.
I found a file from the nVidia website which contained the SMBUS, Lan and Graphics driver which would work on XP Pro. Unfortunately, there was no audio driver included.
Using Everest the following is the information I am able to supply about the driver.
Device Description: nVidia nForce 430 (MCP51) - High Definition Audio Controller.
Device ID: 10DE-026C
Chipset: nVidia GeForce 6150 LE, AMD Hammer
On the Acer website there is drivers available but they are only for Vista.
Any help would be much appreciated.
*EDIT* Noticed in a different part of Everest it is detected as the following.
"Realtek ALC883 @nVIDIA nForce 430 (MCP51)". I did find a Realtek ALC883 driver but it did not work either.
