Default Win98se Broad Band Registry Tweeks

Came across these files the other day and implemented them in two machines running Win98se. A ECS K7S5A ( Onboard Sis 900 Lan ) and Asus A7N8X
( Onboard 3Com lan ). My cable broad band download speeds as tested using the Cable vendors speed tester went from around a little better then 1 Mb/s
( Mega Bits per second ) to close to 5 Mb/s. Thus thought I would post and let people know.

Do a search for the following files:
sguide_tweak_9x.zip
sg_webtweak_9x.zip

They also have Win2k and XP tweeks on the site as well

Regards

You need to be aware that most isp's don't allow an uncapped modem to run on their system. Most isp's can and will suspend your service for doing that.
