DRIVER NEEDED: Sony Electronics CRX320EE (Windows XP Professional) [IDE]
I have a Gateway computer that runs Windows XP Professional.
The machine has a Sony CRX320EE. According to the Windows My Computer / Properties list it is a CD-RW / DVD-ROM type drive.
My problem is that the machine will read CDs OK, but will not recognize anything on a DVD. The "Properties" menu item returns 0 files, 0 bytes, and this on an software install disk.
Is this a driver problem, or something else? The drive reads DeLorme's Street Atlas USA V3 (CD) just fine.
