Re: DRIVER NEEDED: Craig Electronics craig mp3 player model#cmp641f drivers (Windows 7) [USB]
After Googling this model, it seems to be a big problem. I just sent Craig an email as well, so hopefully I'll hear back from them soon, although I won't hold my breath. I'm using WinXP SP3 and received an error message when I plugged in the unit via USB;
USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZED.
It does not show up in MY COMPUTER while plugged in.
Has anyone read the "how to install the WIN98 Driver .txt" file on the CD?
They cannot be serious.
how to install win98 Driver:
1,when the computer under stand by,do not connect MP4 player ,run the w98setup.exe in the driver.
2,If the computer need restart ,pls do it.
3,Pls connect the computer with MP4 player after the computer restarted
4,the computer will show the related driver after the it recognize the MP4 player.it is over.
So unprofessional. And to boot, there is no W98SETUP.EXE file on the disk!!!
I'm thinking about boxing this back up and returning it...
