Exclamation Win95 Install/no Setup.exe

Hello all, I am fixing an old friends VERY OLD PC...She has WIN95 Companion, I have no source to get the dossetup.bin, oemsetup.bin, oemsetup.exe, setup.exe, setup.txt, suhelper.bin and winsetup.bin files from another WIN95 installation...how do I get these files or how do I get around this!!??

you get around it by PURCHASING a used copy of Windows 95/98.

companion is NOT a install cd. it is a reference cd.

either a Full install cd or a upgrage cd (requires a valid proof of a previous OS/cd)

Ebay has many copies for sale quite cheap.

While your offers to help folks asking for copyrighted software are a nice gesture, what you're doing is illegal in the eyes of Bill Gates (owner of Microsoft) and are in direct violation of his copyrights. You cannot provide (nor do we condone) illegal transfer of copyrighted software. Please refrain from offering such software to members of this forum.

Companion CDs were a consumer rip-off.

"If that doesn't work, there's one trick I did a LONG time ago with the Companion CD.
The Companion CD is a Windows 95b CD without the setup.exe file. What I did was that
I used an older Windows 95 (first release) CD, ran the setup file, then replaced
that CD with the Companion CD when it wanted to run Scandisk. Worked like a charm "
