Please do not post Graphics / Video Adapter requests in the Monitors and LCD Displays forum. Thread moved to the correct forum.

Toshiba never shipped this notebook with Windows 7 installed hence it's an unsupported OS by Toshiba.

Some info about the device is in order. Open Device Manager, double-click the graphics/video adapter, then click the Details tab, and give me the 1st. line of text, eg: the hardware ID string. It should begin with PCI\VEN....

Toshiba shipped this notebook with more than one display adapter. They have drivers for Windows XP and Windows Vista that might work... have you tried any of them?

Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family
This is what is in the details tab.
I will try the Vista drivers. I had windows 7 on this laptop befor and it was working fine. I ad to reformat the hard drive and when I laded 7 again, this problem came up..

I need the "hardware id string", not Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family.

Again, it should start with PCI\VEN
