Question Windows 7 - EDUP

Good evening - I have recently taken advantage of the students offer of Windows 7 at the reduced price and put it on an XP machine but it won't recognise my EDUP PCI wireless card, I have searched all over but don't seem to be able to find one - should I just be patient as its still new or could it be completely non compatible - forgive my ignorance but I'm learning as I go along. If my existing PCI card won't work can anyone suggest a suitable (cheapish) card to get me connected to the internet? Thank you.
