Re: DRIVER NEEDED: Fujitsu simens intel 82801DB ICH4 - AC'97 Audio Driver Controller [A-1] (Windows XP Home) [PCI / ISA]
Throw out this info: intel 82801DB ICH4 - AC'97 Audio Driver Controller [A-1] as it's worthless when looking for a sound driver. There are only a few sound chipset makers in the world, amongst them are Realtek, Cmedia, ADI SoundMax, and Sigmatel. Chances are high that your sound chipset is one of those 4 I've listed above.
Hardware ID programs are fooled by any motherboard containing a sound chip with that description. If you are unable to physically describe the sound chip, all I can suggest is to visit the Fujitsu Siemens website to see if you can find which pc model this motherboard came installed in.
I found the mb listed here: http://www.fujitsu-siemens.co.uk/rl/servicesupport/techsupport/Boards/Motherboards/FSC/D1740/D1740.htm
but that page doesn't tell what pc it came installed in nor what audio chipset is used other than "Empia EMP202" and that doesn't hit any nail on the head for me. I did find that the "Scalio P" desktop model contains the D1740 motherboard. If you can find the serial number on the pc, you can get audio drivers here: http://support.fujitsu-siemens.com/com/support/index.html
