Problem with Leading Technologies PC Partner
I recently acquired a PC Partner computer from a yard sale, and I can't get it to work. I know from its age that it is a 286, 386, or 486, and that it runs off of DOS. I have an old monitor and keyboard that both hook up to the computer, and a power cable I found that also works, and I can now turn it on and it makes some sound before settling to a soft hum. However, both the monitor and the keyboard are unresponsive so I do not know what it is doing. Do computers of that age need drivers for periperals? The keyboard and the monitor are from a '96 Cybermax, but their connectors fit this older computer. Anyone have any clue how I can get them to work, or if they are even compatible?
