Question Adaptec EZ-SCSI v5.01 and Windows XP

Hi. I have a Nikon LS-2000 slide/transparency scanner connected to my PC with an Adaptec SCSI Card 2930U using the EZ-SCSI v5.01 Driver (I think all that information is correct but I'm no techy so forgive me if it's not). Over the last month or so my computer has started crashing daily with the frequency increasing. The error message I get once the PC has rebooted says it is a "Device Stop Error" to do with a device driver and through elimination I've figured it must be the scanner/SCSI card. From what I can see, the driver I have installed was only compatible with Windows OS up to Windows NT. Is there a driver I can use with this card that is compatible with XP so my PC will stop crashing? Thanks!

Yes... Microsoft included support for the 2930U with the Windows XP os. Stop using the ez-scsi v5.01 driver by un-installed EZ-SCSI v5.01 so that will allow Windows XP to manage the scsi controller.
