Default Mr

My windows 2000 professional system file corrupted. Ntoskrnl.exe file corrupted. Now running on windows 98 since using dual os. Please tell me how to correct this problem. I want to use windows 2000 again.

Best advice I can offer is to reinstall Win 2K. (Virus check, reformat partition?) The problem here, is that it won't reinstate any program installations etc, so you'll have to reinstall those too. Sorry, but biting the bullet is sometimes the quickest way around these problems... unless someone else knows better?? (Read the thread titled "Win 2000 driver database corrupted" - 'Jerry K' gives a pretty good rundown on the procedure)
