DRIVER NEEDED: Sandisk Cruzer USB Flash Drive (Windows 98SE) [USB]
I'm a partner in a business that started with 98SE. One
of the partners created unique software for this operating
system. That's why I still maintain a laptop with 98SE.
Several years ago OCZ had downloadable drivers for 98SE,
so I purchased a few of their Rally2 flash drives.
There are many Google links for Sandisk Cruzer mini/micro
98 drivers. I found one at DriverGuide and downloaded the
zip archive. Will this driver work with a standard size Cruzer
flash drive, which will fit any USB 1.1 or 2.0 port?
If you google "sandisk driver" the first link that appears on
the list is their "download wizard" which goes nowhere.
If the mini/micro driver will not work with a standard size
Cruzer I need a different driver. Please, don't suggest the
ubiquitous Maximus-Decim Driverpack. You must delete
all your old USB driver INFs, DLLs, and their associated
Registry Keys and Values. If you don't, the system will
attempt to reinstall the old USB drivers on the next reboot.
