Default Windows 2000 --spoolsv.exe and more

I was on the phone with tech support for our software at work and she sent me files and such to "update" my PC
She was never able to actually fix the problem that I was having...but when I was done with all the items she sent me being on my computer, I can not print, the orinter is gone, it says that the spoolsv.exe can not start and to begin it later, so when I grab the spoolsv.exe from my laptop and place it on there I now get rpcrt4.dll I get a funky error message when I go to add a printer, that the print subsystem is unavailable. I am lost!
The computer is an HP from 2002, I can not find any disk anywhere!! Help!! Please

As far as I can tell, what pc you have has nothing to do with your printer problem. Reinstall the drivers for your printer and your problem should be solved.

You should call the nice lady back at HP and tell her what a fine mess she made of your pc....brag on her and tell how gooda job she done for you.

It sounds like you have corrupt or missing operating system files. Have you tried to replace those missing or corrupt files?
