this tip and direct from Microsoft
>>> Start / Execultar / Regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ Curr entVersion \ Explorer registry subkey.
From the Edit menu, select New, DWORD Value.
Enter the name AlwaysUnloadDLL, and then press Enter.

Close the registry editor, and then reboot the machine for the change to take effect.

Better manage the swap file (virtual memory)

Home computers with more than 512Mb not normally need to use virtual memory, which has caused loss of performance. To disable it, go to Control Panel> System> Advanced> Performance> Advanced> Virtual Memory> Change. Select "no swap file", click Set and OK.

If you need to use virtual memory, calculate it based on 1.5 x the amount of RAM available (for example, if you have 128Mb of RAM, your swap file will be 192MB) and set it to original size, and maximum simultaneously. This will cause the size of the exchange is fixed, preventing loss of performance and fragmentation of it.

If you notice crashes or loss of performance, let Windows manage virtual memory to you, sometimes it is the best option.

Boot faster
If you have installed Windows XP on a FAT32 partition to convert it to NTFS. The boot will be faster.

Among the DOS prompt and type: convert c: / fs: ntfs

Already tried this trick twice and always worked.

http://www.duna-design.com.br/Baboo/...xtheme_sp1.zip
Without SP1 installed:
http://www.duna-design.com.br/Baboo/...heme_nosp1.zip

Restart the computer.
At boot time, press F8 and select Safe Mode with Command Prompt.
In the command promp type:

CD .. (to get to the root of drive)
CD c: \ windows \ system32
ren Uxtheme.dll uxtheme.bak
copy c: \ temp \ Uxtheme.dll

When you give the warning that 1 file was copied successfully, restart the machine.
Then just use the themes!

Shortcuts for Restart and Shutdown your windows XP
Area of work in establishing a new shortcut, and asked where the command line, type:
% windir% \ System32 \ Shutdown.exe-s-t 0. This shortcut will turn off the microwave.

% windir% \ SYSTEM32 \ Shutdown.exe-r-t 0. This one serves to restart the micro.

What if I want to restart or shut down automatically without installing any program like Sleepy?
Simply replace the "0" by the number of shortcuts in seconds that you want Windows to perform the action.
Type:
Off in an hour = 3600 seconds.
So the shortcut will be:% windir% \ System32 \ Shutdown.exe 3600-s-t.

Model = Overclock to 3.6Ghz

[Support Information]
Line1 = Aracknideo Powered By
Line2 =
Line3 = Motherboard: Gigabyte 8PENxp
Line4 =
Line5 = Processor: Intel Pentium4 2.8Ghz 800MHz
Line6 =
Line7 = Memory: DDR 512 PC3200 CL2.5 (up to 200MHz) x2
Line8 =
Line9 = CPU Cooler: Thermalright SP-94 + Vantec Tornado 92mm
Line10 =
Line11 = Video Card: MSI GeForce4 Ti4800 128Mb
Line12 =
Line13 = Sound Card: Creative Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS Platinum Pro
Line14 =
Line15 = Drivers: Seagate 160GB HD-CD-DVD-(+)-RWx4

Line17 = Contact: no.email.addys@allowed.com.br

After that you can edit in Notepad even save it with that name Oeminfo.ini and put in the folder c: / windows/system32!

After you take a picture of + or - 180x114 pixels with 256 colors and save it as Oemlogo.BMP and put it in the same folder as the Oeminfo.ini would be C: / windows/system32 and ready ta done!
