Problems with Olympus D-390 Camera on Windows Vista

I don't know what else to do. I have a D-390 camera from Olympus and when I plug it up to the USB port nothing happens. No screen pops up, just nothing. The bottom light next to the display screen on the camera makes a long beeping noise then flashes a few times only to stop. I've looked all over the net trying to find some drivers for this camera on Vista hoping maybe that was the problem but turned up no results as well as no help articles relaying a good answer to this problem. Anyone know what the deal is? Please help..
