I cannot find any evidence that Intel ever made a motherboard named 945GCR. Intel makes motherboards and usually puts Intel chips on them, but they also make and sell Intel chips for other motherboard manufacturers to use on their motherboards. I suspect that intel945GCR is only a chip number and not a motherboard. You will need to tell us who made the motherboard before we can help you. Also, include the bios id string as we can tell who made the mb from the bios id string.
