DRIVER NEEDED: Matsushita (Matshita Panasonic) matshita panasonic (Windows 7 x64) [IDE]

Less than half a year ago I purchased a custom build laptop with a Matshita BD-CMB UJ130AS Blu-ray dvd/burner combination. Now I've upgraded the laptop from Vista 64bit to Windows 7 64bit and now the Blu-ray functionality is gone. When I check the driver I see that a default Microsoft DVD driver is used. So know I'm looking for a suitable driver which also supports Blu-ray.

Blu-ray support is not achieved by drivers.... it is supported by Blu-Ray compatible software. You will have to get one of the newer burning softwares like Nero or Roxio. I'm using the latest version of Nero and it has support for Blu-Ray built in.

The Microsoft drivers are the only drivers available for optical drives. Microsoft built-in native drivers with the OS and that's all that's required other than the burning software.
