I`m new at this,but I need help with a cdrom i have.I have a mat a cdrw7585 writer that i can`t make work.i downloaded the drivers but can`t seem to install them.get the message that roxio update are not available any idea????

our idea is that unless you post a coherent request that states the file name downloaded, and from where. and HOW installed! and at what point the "EXACT" error message appears you have little chance of getting help.

CDRW drives do not use drivers, they have BURNING SOFTWARE (applications) installed which must support the Drive model and OS in order to actually use a cdrw.
