I have downloaded a printer driver and have it saved in my documents folder. How do I install it.

I am puter dumb , so appreciate in laymans terms.

It depends on what type of driver file you have. Please provide that information.

Eg: format..... zip, exe, rar, other. :sleep:

Also please confine printer related questions to the PRINTERS Forum... not to the Audio & Multimedia Forum (where you posted this originally).

if the downloaded file is a ZIP (or some other compressed file), u need to extract it to a folder - suggest u make a new folder and extract the files from such a file.
then look for an executable file (.EXE), most probably "setup.exe".... and run it.

if it is a simple executable, just run it.

this is a simplification.... there are many other possibilities.
