I have a cr-4802te CDRW but after reinstalling XP for the third time, I still cant get XP to see the drive as a CD-RW. I see's it as a CD-Rom and can use it as such but when I go to use it as a CD-RW drive it cant see it as one. It used to work fine on XP so I can't understand it. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Windows XP has builtin support for recording... however, it's not the sharpest knife in the drawer... my advice... read our CD-RW Help Guide (link below)
http://www.driverguide.com/guide2/cdrw-help.htm
And the information on this page: http://tools.supportforyourpc.com/get_article.asp?aid=913
Then when you get really frustrated... I mean thoroughly, disgustingly frustrated, buy a good quality recording software like Easy Cd Creator or Nero's latest and your woes will be over.
