Somebody help me please|
Hello my name is Christopher and I am a owner of a IBM laptop 600 x I purchased a hard drive off of eBay to upgrade in my laptop what it did when I put it in it causes this problem. No fixed disk present and I have been trying to fix this four days now there must be someone who know how to fix this problem with out it being so complicated if you can help me with this it would be appreciated very much or if there is some software that I need to purchase please let me know whatever you can do I truly appreciated thank you very much

eBay is an infamous dumping ground for dishonest folks who like to get paid for their junk. Did your seller guarantee this to be a good working drive? I doubt it or you would be contacting him instead of posting here. There is no "fixing" a bad drive. If configured and installed properly, eg: master/slave jumper set correctly, connnected properly to a working ide port, the drive should work. If it doesn't that's a pretty good indication of a faulty drive or is not installed properly. Until you can tell us how you are attempting to install it, along with some configuration details, we cannot offer much in the way of positive help. :)
