First let me say - HELP!

My scanner was workign great up until a few days ago. It still scans using the wizard provided with Windows XP Pro. My real problem is that the scanner icon in my systray has a red circle with a line thru it and will no longer act as a copier (which is what I really need at this time)

I have reinstalled the hardware. Reinstalled the software and the driver updates (both Ver-355 & the update).

Does anyone out there have any other ideas for me?
