Having problems with on board sound.I`m using a K7SEM motherboard and win2000 updated to XP.As far as i1m aware the correct driver for this is the SIS7018(NT4/2000).I`ve downloaded and installed the driver but to no avail!The sound is very distorted,any ideas as this is doing my head in!

seems Elitegroup mainboard don't provide high quality Onboard-Sound.
I myself do similar problems with a K7S5A with SIS7012.
Don't know a solution either.
I will buy an additional soundcard of a well known brand.
