Your problem is similar to mine, unfortunately. Go to Google and do a search on video card driver communication problems. You won't like what you see in that it defines a lack of specifications by both the motherboard and the graphics people. Apparently no manufacturers are exempt from having these problems. I have been working for two days trying to get my Radeon 9600 to work with my ASUS board. I may have to replace the adapter. I'm going broke with long distance calls to ATI. Of course, I bought the adapter on ebay so returnig it is not possible. I have, of course, downloaded all available drivers, have played with the bios settings, and reloaded XP three times. Good luck.

Early systemboards can/may cause problems due to non standard AGP slots. this is usually a power related issue but can arise from other issues
as for chris, your problem is wrong bios flasher or wrong bios file or BIOS is write protected or bad bios (blown flash line)

010319s.zip is the CORRECT bios file.
Pleease, MAKE SURE that you really do have the correct file before trying to flash!!!!
I don't know where you got the above M754L bios, but there is a MAJOR diffrence between a m754LMR and a M754L board!!!!
