Just bought a new X75 all in one. After hooking it up, installing software, the printer doesn't work. It say "not communicating with printer" I uninstalled and reinstalled. Still the same thing.
I downloaded software from Lexmark and installed, and still the same thing.
Now the scanner and copier function, works great, but when it comes to printing, I get the same message.
With the software installed, I deleted the printer, and rebooted and let it find the printer itself. It said it needed files for the printer and to insert disk. I inserted the CD and it said could not find needed files on the "D" drive.
It listed several files it said it needed, but on already installed software and on the CD it could not find needed files.
Could Lexmark have made an item with a driver for it?
Grateful for any help.
