hello, I recently had my cd rom just fail on me. I can see it bust it just wont read anymore. My cdrw also failed on me awhile back. I have the same problem as with the cd rom. I would like to know why this is happening and if its a driver problem how did it happen?

If your operating system is Windows 95 up thru XP, it cannot be a driver problem. There are no Windows drivers. Please read some of the requests/comments in the DRIVER REQUEST FORUM, CD-RW Section and you will learn something about how cd type drives work in Windows os's. Also while there please read our cd-rw, dvd help guide.
