I used Fdisk to wipe out hard drive and wanted to do a clean install of Win95 on an old comp. I quickly realized that I also wiped out the driver for my CDROM and cannot load Win95 w/o access to the CD drive. I downloaded and installed what I believe to be the correct driver for my drive, but how do I get the comp to boot from CD???

Not every Win95 CDs are bootable.
Well if you're sure your is bootable, you may try to modify the boot sequence in the BIOS ' setup utility.
If that doesn't work (then your CD is probably NOT bootable ;o ), you will probably have to boot from a floppy with CDROM support to install.

constance,
borrow access to the net from one of your friends.
go to www.bootdisk.com
download the bootdisks for your OS or if 95 not there, a copy of the win98 bootdisk will work . set your pc to boot from floppy (in cmos/bios) insert the floppy you created and when the menu shows on screen use the option 'start computer with cdrom support' this will load a version of dos and then the drivers you need to use the cd to load your OS.
let me know if this helps.
