I have a bcm v92 voice modem that only conects at 37 kbps I have downloaded the latest driver from this site and still conect at the same speed. I am running a pentum 4 with 512 memory I need a modem initalition string that will force the modem to connect at a faster speed.

Modem strings will not overcome hardware, isp, or phone company limitations.

Does your phone company support connections speeds of >37 kbps?
Does your isp have V.92 capabilities?
"I have downloaded (unknown driver) the latest driver from this site" (another unknown).

How do we have any way of knowning what driver, if correct driver, and from where? "Latest driver" (how do we know if it's the latest driver)? & "this site" (this site could mean any site) is not useful nor informative information!

You must be specific when quoting driver (filename) and location (url).

and... modem driver requests should be posted in the DRIVER REQUEST FORUM, Modem Section. Asking for drivers is not permitted in this SUPPORT SECTION.
