I have a laptop and fdisk the drive the problem I am having is that I can't get the win98 bootdisk to load drivers for my usb cd rom drive..The problem is I have the cd that came with the AP525-U but I don't have a disk for the driver... Can someone help me please I have tried everything I know(whcih is not much) I keep getting an error message saying mscd001 invalid path

USB is NOT supported in DOS. You must use a valid boot device to load the installation disk in. One way would be to take the drive out of the usb enclosure and mount it inside the pc to the secondary ide port. Then return it to the usb enclosure once the os is installed.

However, this might not be possible on a laptop.....
