I have installed the USB driver for the Sony DSC-P50 camera on windows Me. The computer has recognized that there is new software, and it knows that the camera is plugged into the USB port, but it will not load the driver. The message in the device manager is "The NTKERN.VXD device loader for this device could not load the driver (code 2.)". I have updated the driver, without success. (The camera & driver do work on another computer running windows 2000). All of this has happened after re-loading windows Me. This camera & driver worked fine prior to that, when the windows Me was factory loaded at Dell. Any suggestions??

It seems most of the responses from that last google search pertain to windows 98, xp, etc. and nothing specific for Me, which I have. I've noticed this everytime I try a search. Where can I get something specific for this problem for windows Me?? Also, what is the procedure to run "scannow" on windows Me?
