HELP - I have a Compaq Armanda 4120T with an external Toshiba CD ROM ( Paralell Port Connected ). I have the exact driver for the CD ROM. When the machine boots it keeps telling me that it cant find the CD ROM. Can anyone help me with a fix. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. My email is scotkenny@rogers.com if you can help. Thanks

Simply "having a driver" in your possession will not make your cd-rom drive work. You must install the driver before the drive has a chance of working.

I have a chevy with gas in the tank, air in the tires, and a clean windshield, but it won't run down the road until I start the engine, engage transmission, and push the accelerator. (and steer the vehicle straight down the road).

Stating you have a driver for the drive without stating what driver or what you did with the driver does not provide adequate information for us to help you.
