Is there any way of playing Win 95, Dos 5.X games on a Win XP machine?
I have virtuall PC but it won't recognise the Win 95 Disc and Win 98 that I have installed needs loads of drivers, which I am giving it, just hoped there is a way to play Win 95 on XP...
Any help or ideas much appreciated !!

Did you try enabling Windows 95 compatibility in the properties of a shortcut to your application ?

Some games cannot be ran on Windows XP. I recently tried Carmageddon 2 and it keeps saying, "Sorry! Windows NT not supported!" This must mean that Windows XP was built off the Windows NT engine.

I have a similar problem with win98 game. I have tried everything but it's imppossible. Windows 95/98 use a different core that systems based on Windows NT (XP/Vista)
Only you can play, using some special patches por a specific game. For example "Incubation" for win 95/98. This game is not supported on Windows 2000 or system based on NT, but there is a special patch to play on WinXP. But this patch is only for this game. You got to find a patch for that game in particular.
