From time to time, I've been getting a system error for my PLextor CD 12/10/32A. My OS is XP home, my system reboots and a crash report is issued, Microsoft suggested that its a driver issue. Is there a way to fix this reoccuring problem or should I just go and buy a newer burner?

From time to time, I've been getting a system error for my PLextor CD 12/10/32A. My OS is XP home, my system reboots and a crash report is issued, Microsoft suggested that its a driver issue. Is there a way to fix this reoccuring problem or should I just go and buy a newer burner?

Personally, instead of a new burner I would suggest buying a new computer or operating system. I gave up on keeping XP home running, ME and 2000 Pro both run just fine on the same machine.
