Hey all, I`ve reinstalled Windows ME on my pc and almost everything is okay -- but internet does not work at all .....

Has anybody an idea how to fix it?

Hmm did you reinstall your modem's drivers ? (If modem is connected directly to that PC)
Isn't there a connection kit of which installation would be mandatory for it to work (like if you have AOL :/ ) ?
Did you run the Internet Connection Wizard ?
